Located on the Waterfront
As the beloved bard-by-the-bay Herb Caen once declared, the Ferry Building remains “A Famous City’s Most Famous Landmark.” Modeled after the great marketplaces of Europe and located on the colorful waterfront, this historic gateway to San Francisco is now home to the famed Ferry Plaza Farmers’ Market. And only Paula LeDuc Fine Catering holds the exclusive rights to produce events in this 1898-era building crowned by a 240-foot clock tower that melds classical stateliness with modern-day urbanity.
Views into the vibrant marketplace below are available from the second floor Grand Hall where private events are held. With the toot of the ferry horns and the dappling light of the bay, your event at the Ferry Building will capture the distinct spirit of San Francisco.
