English Mansion on a 17 acre private estate
Originally part of the Old Mission San Jose garden, Palmdale Estates is a beautifully landscaped site, featuring dozens of stately palms and native California trees, verdant lawns, gardens and even a pond.
In the midst of this lovely setting is Best House, a Tudor-style mansion whose delightful interior and grounds create a storybook backdrop for weddings any time of year.
During warm months, most couples tie the knot in the white gazebo on the rear lawn, which is bordered by pines, redwoods and dotted with palms and fruit trees. They have their reception outdoors as well, setting up tables in the grassy expanse next to the gazebo.
The main floor of the Best House is an area of 2500 square feet and will accommodate a party of 200. The capacity of the exterior well exceeds 500. It is an elegant facility for weddings, corporate meetings and parties.
- Venue Rental Fee (Saturday peak season): $2500 Best House and Gardens during the day, $3500 for evening weddings / $1500 Sunken and Starr Gardens for ceremony only
- Rental Fee Includes: 8-hr rental period for Best House and Gardens, 5 rectangular tables 8′ x 2 1/2, 20 round tables 60″, 1 round table 48″, 8 round tables 36″, 6 serpentine tables 4′ x 2 1/2, 200 white folding chairs (used outdoors only), 150 natural wooden chairs (used indoors only), set-up and break-down tables and chairs, janitorial clean-up for up to 200 guests, ceremony only rental period is 4 hours and rental fee include 200 white folding chairs, 1 rectangular 8′ x 2 1/2 table for guestbook and gifts
