Merryvale’s Historic Cask Room is often cited as the Napa Valley’s most enchanting setting for special events. Two stories of century-old 2,000 gallon casks line the stone walls and create an unforgettable ambience.
Magical for wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, family occasions, corporate events and more, the Cask Room can accommodate groups of up to 112. With every detail carefully attended to, award-winning wines paired with the sumptuous cuisine of highly acclaimed Napa Valley chefs, Merryvale brings an unparalleled level of creativity and enjoyment to your event.
Your special occasion begins in Merryvale’s tasting cellar with a reception featuring Merryvale’s award-winning wines and perfectly paired hors d’oeuvres. After a behind-the-scenes tour of our historic winery, guests gather at the iron gates backed by red curtains as candles are lit, lights are lowered, and the music begins. The drapes are drawn to reveal a dining room reminiscent of majestic Old World winemaking estates, with a warmth that is distinctly Napa Valley.
- Venue Rental Fee (Saturday peak season): $4500 for up to 50 guests with a minimum wine purchase of 4 cases / $5500 for 51-112 guests with an 8 case minimum wine purchase
- Rental Fee Includes: Winery tour, tables, chairs, specialty linens, wine glasses, wine service, candelabras, candles and access to our PA/sound system. If the client chooses to use rental tables or chairs, there is a service charge for setup and breakdown, plus the cost of the rentals. For clients not utilizing the services of a Wedding Planner, there is a $500 on-site coordination fee. All wine purchases include a 15% event discount off the retail price per bottle. The client takes home any pre-purchased wine that was not opened and served. Additional discounts apply for pre-purchases above the minimums.
