Cline Cellars

Located in the Carneros Region of Sonoma, CA, the historic Cline Cellars property embodies a rustic elegance and welcomes all who are looking for a true winery experience. Thousands of rose bushes line the drive to the winery’s tasting room, an authentic 1850s farmhouse with Old Glory flying from the wide wraparound veranda. Expansive lawns on either side of the farmhouse contain rock-walled fresh water koi ponds, a remainder from the winery’s past, when it was the first North American carp farm.

Cline has several unique, versatile venues with both indoor and outdoor options that are ideal for wedding ceremonies and receptions of any size, as well as corporate and social events. For a smaller affair, the historic Adobe Mission and Flagstone Patio venue is an enchanting intimate place to exchange vows or host a rehearsal dinner. Walk over an arched stone bridge spanning a stream and you’ll find yourself on a shady flagstone patio rimmed by lotus ponds, landscaped gardens and vineyards.

Our expansive Great Lawn, bordered by ponds and mature willow trees, is a picture perfect venue that provides a bride and groom with endless possibilities for their special day. The optional Cline Cellars’ 40’x40’ white festival tent creates an intimate environment for dining and dancing, giving guests the opportunity to mingle inside or outside under the stars.

Should you prefer an indoor venue for your reception, Cline’s Barrel Room can be transformed into a spectacular setting. Whether you opt to bring in simple string lights or elaborate draping and chandeliers, there is nothing like dining and dancing amidst the aromas of aging wine and oak barrels.
