Casual Country Elegance
This unique 16-acre property allows us to create events that are romantic and elegant within a beautiful natural environment. Because we are located 4.7 miles inland from the Pacific Coast, unlike the beach, we are milder in our extremes and the area is known to the locals as the “banana belt”. A rose garden, fountains and ponds, a quaint old barn and a lovely white gazebo are all here. The open space of the property gives us plenty of on site parking. Changing rooms, bathrooms and prep areas are all designed to serve an event of any size.
We are open from mid April to October. Our best months for evening wedding are July, August, September and October. Because of our location, we are able to offer extended hours not always offered at other locations. Chateau La Joye is an outdoor site/venue/facility.
General Info
- Venue Rental Fee (Saturday peak season): $3300 for 100 guests / $33.00 per person
- Rental Fee Includes: The Chateau will provide all tables, linens and chairs for your guests when you use our caterer. Choose from the family style seating or traditional round tables with a wide variety of linen colors. Also provided are market umbrellas for day events, lap blankets and heaters for evening events. A large private cottage overlooks the Chateau and allows the bride and attendants to relax and enjoy their time before the wedding overlooking the chateau. Additional amenities include a kitchenette, full bathroom, and patio off the back. On site coordination is included in your venue costs. We provide assisted on-site, lighted parking for your guests.
