The stunning golf courses and natural beauty of the grounds offer a breath-taking first impression upon arriving at Castlewood. The Clubhouse sets in the exact location of Phoebe Hearst’s “La Hacienda Del Pozo De Verona,” a 50-room estate built in 1886.
Porte a Cachere and entryway with its large doors offers an appealing and engaging sense of old fashioned charm while the grand lobby with its tile floors is reminiscent of a bygone era. With high ceilings, a 6,000 square foot Ballroom and an additional 2,000 square foot banquet bar and an optional 4,000 square foot patio area, you know that you will have the space you need for your special event. The 12-foot tall windows allow natural light for both day and evening functions.
Underneath one of our oldest oak trees, with the golf course as a backdrop, your wedding ceremony will be both romantic and picturesque.

- Venue Rental Fee (Saturday peak season): $500 AM or $1000 PM Colonnade Room for up to 140 guests / $1000 AM or $1500 PM Verona Room for up to 250 guests / $1500 AM or $2500 PM Grand Ballroom for up to 500 guests / Ceremony additional $750 / All events booked on Saturday evenings require minimum revenue of $10,000.00, excluding service charge and applicable taxes.
- Rental Fee Includes: 5 hours reception time which includes a cocktail hour. Daytime events may begin as early as 6:00am and up to 11:00am. Daytime events can be extended if additional time is available and there are no conflicting evening events. Evening events begin at 5:00pm or later (including ceremony start times). All evening events must conclude no later than 1:00am. Catering packages include award winning catering from executive chef Tracy Flores. Buffet or plated dinners with cake cutting & coffee service included. 8/10-Top round dining table, chairs, white linens & napkins, glassware, flatware and dishware. Riser stage for head table and or Band/DJ. Professional bartenders & wait staff, directed by banquet manager. Food tasting scheduled 3-6 months prior to event date. Access to facility 2 hours prior to start time for set-up and to get ready. Ceremony price includes: Changing/Bridal suite for the bride to get ready. 1 extra hour of event time for ceremony. 1 hour of rehearsal time. 150 white folding chairs (additional chairs $2 each). Antipasto platter & 1 bottle of champagne served in bridal suite prior to ceremony.
