Ardenwood: Where History and Hospitality Tie the Knot
With history dating back to the 1850s, Ardenwood Historic Farm offers a journey back in time. The stately Patterson House, a beautiful 19th century mansion restored to its original elegance, graces the grounds at Ardenwood Historic Farm. The expansive lawns and surrounding gardens create a magical atmosphere for wedding ceremonies or receptions. Walk down the illuminated pathway to find an archway covered in amber twinkle lights as you enter this serene area of the farm completely surrounded by trees, the biggest redwood being showcased by up lighting and the perimeter of its lawn lined with glowing market lights. An arbor serves as the backdrop to the brand new deck, and tall New York style street lamps highlight the dance floor area. Ardenwood Historic Farm has preserved the Victorian Garden, serves as a refuge for over 99 species of birds, and is home to monarch butterflies throughout the winter.

Bridal RoomThe rental fee ranges from $2,200 to $3,500 for ceremony and reception and includes 5 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $750/hr. The fee to rent the Lawn is $1,500 for ceremony only. A damage deposit is required and ranges from $500 to $1,000. For nonresidents of Alameda and Contra Costa counties, there is a surcharge that equals 20% of the rental fee. Prices provided are based on peak rates. Discounts available for off-peak.
